Not so much progress this afternoon I'm afraid. I was awake and up at 4am this morning after less than 5 hours sleep so by 2 this afternoon I was flagging. I had a nap and then did finish the star blocks but the other blocks will have to wait for now.
I have enjoyed my day and want to thank those of you who were kind enough to leave an encouraging comments. Of course the biggest thanks go to QuiltSue for hosting today. Quilters are the best!

Hey you've caught my insomnia have you?
ReplyDeleteI love this block you hit the colors just right. I'm sure it took some time to do just this one block i'm in the middle of making a pinwheel block and it is the first time I have ever made something like this. I didn't realize how long it would take me to make just one block. I can't wait to see this quilt when you get it done.
ReplyDeleteYour Ohio Star block looks well done especially in the Christmas colors. I am fighting being sleepy today too. Not a lot of stitching has gotten done.
ReplyDeleteI think you did very well for working on little sleep! Good job ....
ReplyDeleteI like the way you changed up the block. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteLovely block, Hazel - I like the HST's in the corners too.
ReplyDeleteThe block looks fabulous. Hope you got a better nights sleep last night :)
